Hello; today I want to share a LO of Layla. I made this with Celebrate paper from DCWV. I made this lo for Burlap & Buttercups challenge #2 The challenge was to use a banner.

The banner was made from several cartridges including Accent Aessentials and Cindy Loo.

This is LO one of 2012, I have a lot of work ahead of me but this is just the beginning. I also am going to attempt project 365 this year. I hope to be able to share some of those pictures in the future.

Today the sketch is from Creative Scrappers #187. This was a harder sketch to use but so much fun! I used We R Memories paper Fiesta collection, I believe it goes great with the pictures. For the title I used Campin Critters, which is one of my favorite cartridges.

Lil' Cowpoke, Fair, & three boy LO

Hello, Sorry I have been MIA, but life sometimes gets in the way of crafting. Today I have a few Layouts to share. First I must admit that I made most of these for a challenge and never had the time to post them therefore I forgot already who I made them for. They might have been sketches. Sorry I will try to get better at that.

This is a LO of Elijah, I used crate paper Toy collection paper, it worked great with the LO. The title & boot are from Old West. The banner is from April showers. I also used Martha Stewart punch on the side. I used Pencil lines sketch 259.

For this LO, I used some really old BoBunny paper. The banner was cute from Country Life, the title is stickers, the flower stem is from Cindy Loo. I used misting which I was very uncomfortable with but I liked the end result.

For this LO I also used the Carte Paper Toy collection. I loved the colors with my pictures. I used the chipboard for the title and some hemp on the side of the pictures. This was super simple and easy to put together.

Today I have a LO to share of Elijah starting Kindergarten this year. I used a sketch from Stuck. Paper used: Little Yellow Bicycle Head of Class. Cricut Cartridge: Locker Talk for the pencil, and Baby Steps for My in the title. I also embossed the I D R in Kinder with embossing powder and a heating gun.

Halloween Mini Album

Happy Day!
Friday I attended a Halloween Party with my family! I had so much fun it inspired me to make a mini ASAP!!
I used mainly American Craft paper, but I also included some Echo Park, and My Minds Eye.
Cartridges used were little Monster's, Happy Haunting, and Base camp.

It's an older one but I really liked it for this sketch!

Beach: This lo was made with last season's LYB paper. Cartridges: Life's a beach, Accent essentials.

Paradise: paper is fancy pants cartridges: graphically speaking, life's a beach, and I can't remember the title cartridge sorry!

A Month Worth of Layouts

First off I have a picture of a LO of Layla.
I did this LO for the Challenge from Burlap and Buttercups!
The challenge was to use the block look.

This LO was creates with Echo Park Happy Days Collection. I used Baby Steps Cartridge for the title and baby chair. I posted several pictures for more details.

This again is my baby Girl. The tub is from best friends imagine cartridge.

The Veggie (Radishes) are from Country Life.

This is a Family LO. The pictures were taken at the Asparagus Festival. The Asparagus are a print out. (First time I try this and I really liked it). I used Chipboard for the Festival title. Paper is from Simple stories.

This was from 4th of July weekend at Pismo beach. I used Fancy Pants Paper. I sued the Life's a Beach.

Summer Break MIA

I am so sorry I have been MIA, I have been busy with my family, travel and a new job.
Today I wanted to share a few LO's I made before Life got in the way.
This first LO is Bobunny paper I used the robots cricut cartridge, and the boys will be boys for title and arrow.

This is Echo park paper, with the banner made from April Showers Cartridge. This lo features my baby girl Layla.

Last but not least is a lo I started two years ago and just never finished. Paper is a mixture of papers. I hope you like all of these lo!

To finish of my post I will share some pictures of a few trips that I have taken and I can hopefully get these scrapped ASAP!!

Hello here are two LO today. They are old LO updated. I usually don't do this but I had a few LO that I hated before and I am glad that I am updating now. Hope you like the new version.

I took the frame and added a different title, and more color. I like this one much better.

Hello today I am finally catching up with my Easter pictures. this is a LO of the family making Easter Treats. It was so much fun, this is the first time my mother was able to help. Kids always have a blast helping out as well.
I used paper from Hopscotch from Basic Grey, I also used cricut cartridges doodlecharm for the eggs, and Baby Steps & Happy Haunting for the title. For the rabbit I used my Imagine Nursery Tails.

Hello, today I have two things to share with you. I have a LO of my baby girl crying. I used Echo Park Summer paper pack. I used my cricut for the title. I used a lo from Sketchabilities.

These are some treat bag that I made to celebrate my son's last day of school. I cut the topper with my cricut, and added my son's name and number in case someone wants to come for a play date during the summer. These were last minute so not too much creativeness went into them.

Once Upon a Sketch- Layout

I've been very busy scrapping away! Today I wanted to share a LO I did to submit to the Once Upon a Sketch Challenge. I used pictures of our trip to San Diego, and although I rarely Journal I liked the story behind these pictures. So I took the challenge and here are the results.

Hello Usually I wait until I have several Layouts to share but I thought I would start sharing more often this way. So today the subject of my LO is my baby girl Layla, her middle name is Alyce and I thought I would feature that in a LO.
The paper is Cosmo Cricket, and Echo Park, with a few randoms in between. Chipboard is Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday and I used some Echo Park on the title stickers.

The weather is getting nicer and we have been out of the house more often. So I have gotten some really nice pictures and Nicer paper to go with them.

This first LO is of Layla and paper is from the Jillibean Soup. I loved this collection, so colorful!

This Lo is from October Afternoon Paper. The title is Chipboard and the tree and Clouds are from the Spring Cartridge.

More October Afternoon Paper. Title is from Campin Critters. It was a must have cartridge for me. I love so much of it!

This is Yet another LO of Layla. This is when she first learned to use a Straw, we call it taking a Zippy Pooo. Paper is from My little Yellow Bicycle. What a great paper line! Perfect for bright springy pictures.

Finally ECHO Park paper , need I say more. This is the playground Collection. I am in LOVE!!

Mini Album, LO, and Give Away!!

Grab some Coffee, it’s gonna be a long one!!

I wanted to start off by showing you two newly created LO! I am very happy with the way that both of these turned out.

The first uses Echo Park Paper and the “subject” is my baby girl Layla.

This LO is a LO of pictures taken at Universal Studios. I thought it would be fun to showcase them with this beautiful line of paper from My Yellow Bicycle. I really like the Twig collection, and can’t wait to play with it some more.

Lastly to share is this Album I made for my mother. She has 13, yes 13 Grandkids and I thought it would be fun to make a page for each Grandchild. This is a great way for her to travel with them. I hope you like them all. Most of the paper used is October Afternoon, however I did add some CTMH paper and embellishments, and other fun things along the way. I used my Cricut a lot and completed my previous challenge with this album.

Here are three LO I began to follow some of the challenges and then it took a different direction. LOL!!

This first LO is a sort of entry for the Get Picky Sketch. It began this way and then it was almost all inspiration.

This second LO is just a fun LO that also followed the same sketch.

This LO is a LO of my baby girl. I Loved the way it turned out. I used paper lace as a cartridge for the background Dollie.

Last but not least I did this lo of my son's 1st day of 1st grade at his new school since we recently moved.

Lastly I wanted to share that I am almost done with my mini album that I will be sharing tomorrow. So come back and visit.

Last but not least I will be doing a random drawing for an older cricut cartridge once I hit 100 followers. So if you are not following yet make sure to do so! Only one person to go!!!!! Woooohooo and I will continue to do drawings every 100 people!

Hello to all, I have been so busy with the move and life however I managed to sneak in some craft time. Here are a few LO!

This 1st one is of Layla, paper is from Cosmo cricket. I loved the colors with those pictures.

This LO was from pictures taken in San Fransisco. I love that city and now we live so much closer to it!

Another Sanfranscio LO, the title is from Life's a party. I used Cosmo Cricket for the paper and most of the embellishments are chipboard.

Here is a lo 2 years in the making. I have had the paper and the pictures for a long time but it was just not coming to me. Finally a cart with some bowling things came out. Nifty Fifties and I just had to have it. The title is from that.

I used a sketch from Frosted designs, but this was a few weeks ago, just never had time to submit it. Paper is BoBunny and title is Cricut.

And Finally this lo, of my Handsome baby on his school picture. Paper is crate paper.

Two Layla Layouts.

Here is a LO of Layla and I on Mother's day last year. She has grown so much since then :(. Paper is Cosmo Cricket and I used several different cartridges for the title. Birthday Bash for the banner, and batman for the time.

I am entering these as a Paper Issue Challenge. The challenge is to use birds, bees, or butterflies.

Again I used Cosmo Cricket paper and title is from Stand and Salute and Gypsy wanderings.

Few LO's to Share

Here are a few LO I would like to share today.

Up first is a lo I did for our recent trip to Universal Studios. I used a sketch from Get your sketch on however I was too late to submit.

Second up was a Lo also from Universal studios. The paper is from Jilli Bean Soup. I had so much fun making this lo!

Paper used here is Basic Grey and the title is chipboard, from my OLD stash!! So proud of myself for using it.

This is a LO I did with my new Kit from Green Tangerines and I incorporated elements for a challenge for How much is too much. Again I did it too late to submit but I will get better at this challenge thing.

This year I have a couple of new resolutions; I decided to stop making weight loss a resolution :) since it really never happens after the 2nd week. so this year I have decided to have much achievable resolutions

Challanege myself creatively
Cook for my family
AND SCRAPBOOK AND CRAFT MUCH MORE!

With that in mind I want to welcome you to come back as much as possible for some challenges. I would like to start a challenge blog so stay tune for more information.

Sour Cream Container Tutorial

Sour Cream Container

Today is my day to show you how to make something over at Frosted Designs. So I decided on this wonderful little treat.

I have been making these little containers for a long time, you make these as simple or as fancy as you want. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Supply:

Card stock 4x5
Super sticky Glue
Paper Crimper
Treat
Embellishments

Step 1:Cut your card stock 4"x5"

Step 2: Apply sticky tape to the 4" reverse side of the paper as well as the middle of the bottom half and halfway on the top. As seen below.

Step 3: Roll paper like a cylinder from 4" to 4". (Like a paper towel roll). Next adhere one side.

Step 4: Fill with a treat, it could be candy, buttons for your crafting friends, ribbon, erasers.... ect....ect....

Step 5:

Close the other end in the opposite direction as seen below.

Step 6: Crimp both sides and embellish!!!

I used mine as ornaments that I can give to my guests. I punched a hole in the middle, added thread then ribbon and an embellishment.

Hello everyone! Today at Frosted Designs there is a great Ribbon Challenge, and there is a prize involved, make sure to check them out. Here is what I created!

This Paper is Cosmo Cricket, and the flower box is made with Ribbon. I wanted to show case a different way to use ribbon.

I also wanted to share another LO I did just for fun! I used My Minds Eye Paper for the most part. The title is BoBunny, and the Giraffe is from Create a Critter.

I did this lo for My Mind's Eye Challenge. Here is the LO that was to be used:

So here is my interpretation of it. I used all Alphabet Soup (the boy one) from My Mind's Eye Products. I love this paper line. It is so versatile.

I had a lot of fun making that LO!

Next I would like to share two LO that I created: One is for Scrapbook Challenges this was a Word Challenge. The word was play.

Last but not least was just a LO because I love the paper so much! The paper is Basic Grey!! :)
